I wrote a few articles about my pre-Disneyland Paris planning in early April before I left which compared the planning differences that I had noticed.  Now that I have gone, let’s talk about the real differences. The overall feeling and park structure of Disneyland Paris is very much like it is at Disneyland in California.  The Disneyland Hotel was very nice, had breakfast included and was truly right at the entrance to the park.  The food at both the quick service and casual sit down restaurants at Disneyland Paris were very similar to what you experience in either California [...]

I talked last week about our first Viking River Cruise and will talk about all the best things about the cruise!  The absolute best thing about the river cruise was the ability to visit so many cities in one week.  On our cruise we visited Regensburg and Passau, Germany; Krems (Gottweig Abbey) and Vienna, Austria; and Budapest, Hungary.  In all the cities (except Vienna), the river cruise docked right in the city, so it was an easy on/off to visit the city itself!  Vienna was a much bigger city, so the boat docked farther away from the city center, [...]
